Message From the Co-Presidents
Hello and Welcome to the Leesville Road High School Performing Arts Boosters (PAB)!
All of the families of choral students at Leesville Road High School who wish to participate are members of our booster organization. The sole purpose of the Booster Club is to support our choral students in their musical education, under the award-winning direction of Diane Covington. We have a wonderful, supportive group of parents who help on the Board, Committees, and attend the general meetings. We meet (about) every other month at 7:00 pm in the Chorus Room, beginning in September.
Our committees include; Hospitality, Uniforms, Fundraising, Durham Bulls, Grocery Cards, Student Accounts, Communications, Singing Valentines, and Performing Arts Café. We are available to assist Mrs. Covington in whatever she needs us to do; from chaperoning trips, driving to competitions, or measuring for choral uniforms. Please call or email one of the chairpersons to find out where you may help. A list of board members and committee chairs is available on the web site. Please keep this web page bookmarked so you can use it as a reference throughout the year.
We are very thankful for the hard working and dedicated members of our PAB Board. Please let any of us know if you are interested in serving on the board in the future - we will have some openings next year due to graduation so keep us in mind.
The Leesville Chorus Program under Mrs. Covington’s wonderful direction opens up an exciting world of music to our students. It is great to see how they grow and develop a love of singing over the years. From Beginning and Intermediate to Capital Pride, the concerts are breathtaking!
Join us as we assist our students and Mrs. Covington throughout this upcoming year. May it be the best ever!
